The sides are routered to create a decorative edge, which is painted in gold metallic paint. It is also sealed with two coats of polycrylic sealant. The sign is made in four different versions for four military branches — Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. This sign includes sawtooth picture hangers for hanging on the wall (not installed), but it can also be displayed on a tabletop or shelf using a tabletop sign holder (not included).
